Lots of grottos and swim throughs in the coral in this reef in the Florida Keys Marine Sanctuary. Although visibility was not great this day - it was still a nice dive. Watch for the parrotfish feeding frenzy at the end of the video.

Lots of colorful coral, tropical fish, including many angelfish and a shark. Located in the middle of this large reef off Key Largo Florida. This is my 51st year diving and although I've witnessed a lot of deterioration of the coral reefs, I still enjoy the experience of life of the reef.

The reef looks good. Last time I was there it all look d a bit green
Visibility has been decent when we get out, but a lot of windy days can stir things up. Sections of Molasses Reef are holding up Ok, but others have not.

Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed. I use a GoPro 10 with underwater housing and PolarPro filters. I edit the raw footage using iMovie for Mac

wht is tge speed setting in the vid?
I have only seen Lake Erie in my life as I’m an hour and a half away but I pray I get to see all the Great Lakes one day. I had never thought to make a trip all the way around the Great Lakes that sounds wild and amazing. May not have very long but maybe I’ll make it up there in time man

Yes. They are often found under ledges. Fisherman will tell you that’s a favorite place for them to head after being hooked too.

Wow that’s awesome, the old school scooters were so large and troublesome, looks like this one can clipped onto BCD ready for every dive.
I slipped it into my cummerbund when not using. Never had a problem with battery life so far. They are looking for dealers.

Is it harmless?
It has tentacles that can sting humans if touched. It does not attack, so if you stay out of their way and don't touch them - they are harmless! So how do turtles eat jellyfish without getting stung? There are a few evolutionary adaptations that enable turtles to eat jellyfish without being stung. Their main defense mechanisms are: Thick skin, particularly around their beaks Papillae, lining their throats Armored shell Their ability to close their eyes when they attack

Hello Mark, my name is Robert. My nickname at the scuba shop in Minnesota called Argonauts was RV. I also received my in in 1974 and was certified. I went on to do the Minnesota historical society and national geographic dives on the pigeon River. Do you remember those days. Once I graduated from high school I joined the Navy and became a Navy SEAL. I spent many fine years utilizing those skills I worked for at Argonauts. I'll keep it tab on your site. Wonderful video!!! If you watch closely, it looks like something scared the Anhinga and it made a break for land! I didn't see what it could have been, but it sure did look like it bolted out of the water right then.

I am originally from Michigan but now live in Mobile, Al. My Wife is from Mobile. Her first reaction to seeing the Great Lakes was priceless. It made me proud to have grown up a Michigander.
Thank you for a well crafted video of the highlights along Lake Superior. There are too many cheesy 10 minute RV travel videos with 6 minutes of showing the vehicle and owner gassing it up while the other four minutes barely show one destination . Ir’ well appreciated to see a video showing all the places to see.
Got my tour of Lake Michigan planed going up the coast to Ludington cross on the ferry to manitowoc north keeping to the lake as much as possible around the top and down the coast haven't made my mind up about west or east cost for the southern part video just made me want to go but too early in season now
